The first part of the course aims to provide the basis of general and organic chemistry to address Biochemistry, the second part of the course. The aim of this second part is both the acquisition of knowledge about the structure and function of proteins and enzymes proteins as the main pathways of carbohydrate, fat, and protein catabolism.
The course is done in blended. The lectures in presence are supported / supplemented by lectures recorded that the students can access online through the platform AulaWeb

second semester AY 2018/2019
Oral exam. The exam lasts about 20 minutes per student and is carried out on the topics covered in class and taken up, in part, in the videotaped lessons available online on AulaWeb.
For the units with video lessons, self-assessment tests, which are designed to stimulate students in learning, are provided. Self-assessment tests are useful also to verify the correct understanding, facilitating the preparation of the final exam, done in the presence.
