Graduation days

On this page, the dates of graduation sessions are published and updated.

The calendar of discussions, on the other hand, is generally published a week before the start of each session, in the "Notices" section of this website.

The Commission for the conferment of the degree, made up of professors, researchers or contract lecturers, is composed of at least 5 members including the President and is appointed by the Director of the Department to which the Course of Study belongs. The majority of the members must be full professors and researchers.

N.B.By the Enrolment Deadline you must:

• confirm your degree application
.
• have all examinations and credits for other educational activities registered in your career
.
• be up-to-date with the payment of fees and degree stamps

By Delivery of thesis is meant the delivery of the volume/upload pdf of the thesis.

Remember to deposit the thesis title at least 6 months before the scheduled date of discussion, using the form available in the "Documents" section of this page (to be sent to tesiarealettere@unige.it).

The timetable for thesis defences, on the other hand, is generally published one week before the start of each session, in the “News and events” section of this website.

The degree award committee, comprising professors, research fellows or contract lecturers, consists of at least five members, including the Chair, and is appointed by the Head of the Department to which the degree programme belongs. The majority of the members must be tenured professors and research fellows.

N.B. By the enrolment deadline you must:

• confirm your degree application
• ensure that all exams and credits relating to other academic activities are recorded in your academic record
• be up to date with the payment of fees and the degree stamp

For Thesis submission refers to the submission of hard copies or the uploading of a PDF of the thesis.

Please remember to submit your thesis title at least 6 months before the scheduled date of the defence, using the form available in the ‘Attachments’ section at the bottom of this page (to be sent to tesiarealettere@unige.it).
