What is The Practical Evaluative Internship for the State Examination (TPVES)is used to ascertain your skills related to "knowing how to do and knowing how to be a doctor," namely: apply biomedical and clinical knowledge to medical practice resolve issues of professional ethics and medical ethics demonstrate aptitude for solving clinical problems pertaining to the areas of medicine and surgery and related specialties, laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, and public health The TPVES provides for thecarrying out, during the 5th and 6th years of the course(however before graduation), of an internship of the total duration of three months. A total of 15 CFUs(where 1 CFU is equivalent to 20 hours of professionalizing teaching) are attributed to the practical evaluation internship, and the attendance hours must correspond to 5 CFUs for each part of the internship: 1 month in the Surgical Area 1 month in the Medical Area 1 month in the office of a General Practitioner (GP) N.B.The evaluative practical internship contributes to the acquisition of the 60 CFU of professionalizing activities provided by the regulations and does not replace the 15 CFU of Professionalizing teaching to be carried out during the 4th, 5th and 6th years. N.B.The online booking of the internship with the GP becomes effective only with the submission of the MGM Statement,before the start of the internship. If you do not submit the statement within 30 days from booking, it will be cancelled automatically. The scheduled month of attendance takes place at the clinic of a General Practitioner on the basis of agreements signed between UniGe and the Provincial Order of Physicians and Surgeons with jurisdiction. If you are enrolled in the 6th year, you can do the internship at the office of the General Practitioner (GP). To enter the internship you must have passed all exams related to the first four years of the course, including any eligibility. N.B.Enrollment and registration of attendance will be verified at pre-graduation checks. Enrollment and certification of different periods of attendance are carried out online by the faculty members in charge of the Operating Units where attendance takes place.
End of internship A classroomweb instance will be activated at each graduation session in the TPVES-2223 course dedicated to delivering signed complete transcripts, which you must do by the deadline for submitting your graduation application.
