Events and meetings

Career days and events

Participate in UniGe's events and meetings with companies, organizations and associations to find out about their job and internship offers and learn about selection and placement.

Thematic workshops

UniGe offers you to attend thematic workshops on job search and first contacts with the company.

The workshops are organized once a month and announced in the News section of the Graduate section.

To participate you need to perform the following online procedure by midday the day before the workshop date:

  • link to student classroom
  • click on the Placement - Job Orientation Workshops
  • heading.
  • log in with your UniGePASS credentials
  • select the event and click on Book

If you cannot attend, please unregister. The number of places is limited.

In case the available seats are sold out, send us an email indicating your interest in attending with the title and date of the workshop.

If you have an entrepreneurial idea, UniGe (in collaboration with Confindustria Genova, Legacoop Liguria and Confcooperative) helps you see if it can be translated into a successful business by providing information, technical and regulatory assistance, coaching and mentorship.

Outgoing

The course of study promotes your entry into the world of work after graduation through various initiatives including 

  • .

    The Educational Office collects,  with prior consent, the data of graduates to make them available to interested companies and organisations;

  • .

    The Internship and Professionalisation Modules Commission and the Internships in Schools Commission, whose composition is available here, manage recruitment and collaboration proposals, acting as a stable link with the world of work;

  • .

    experts from the sector hold professionalisation modules, offering complementary skills to the study pathway of the degree course;

  • Internships are offered in companies, institutions and schools.

You will have the opportunity to carry out your master's thesis under the supervision of a course lecturer, 

  • developing a project on a problem proposed by a company;
  • collaborating directly with company research teams on topics of interest to the company
  • .

The degree course organises a meeting with companies to present job opportunities and simulate interviews (Laurea in Azienda), which takes place in March-April of each year.  In addition, the University organises specific outgoing guidance initiatives, such as Career Day and OrientaMenti, which will be notified to you by email. 

The lecturers, in particular your thesis advisor, will inform you of opportunities for access to third-level training, including PhD courses, specialisation schools and second-level Masters courses.
