1. Read the admission requirements You can join this course if you have obtained (or will obtain by the end of February) a university degree or equivalent (four-year degree, master's degree, three-year university diploma, three-year special purpose school) and if you meet the specific requirements specified below. Specific requirements In order to enroll in this course you must also have at least 60 CFUs in the MAT/* areas in your career. pass a test of your personal preparation. Admission is automatically accepted if you have graduated in the L-35 Mathematics class in Italy.
2. Register and pre-enrol All candidates with a qualification obtained in Italy, or candidates who have been granted conditional admission through UniGeApply, must register on the UniGe portal and submit a pre-enrolment application through the online services (see the TUTORIAL in italian). Registration on the Unige Portal If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, access the UniGe Portal and obtain your UniGePASS credentials. Pre-enrolment Submit your pre-enrolment application using the UniGePASS credentials received upon registration.You may submit your pre-enrolment application even if you have not yet graduated or, if you have already obtained your degree, even before submitting the application for assessment of curricular requirements or before receiving the outcome of that assessment. Pre-enrolment and the assessment of the adequacy of personal preparation are free of charge. Payment of the enrolment fee and regional tax is required only upon confirmation of enrolment.
3. Support verification of personal preparedness If you have followed a degree in class L35 - Mathematical Sciences in Italy and have acquired ▪ at least 40 CFU in MAT/02 or MAT/03▪ at least 30 CFU in MAT/05▪ at least 6 CFU in MAT/06▪ at least 6 CFU in MAT/07▪ at least 6 CFU in MAT/08personal preparation is assessed as adequate. To this end at the pre-enrolment stage you must attacha list of the examinations passed (or to be passed by the deadline for enrolment in the degree) in your previous university studies, including the relevant number of credits;If you have not taken a degree in the L35 class - Mathematical Sciences in Italy OR you have not acquired ▪ at least 40 CFU in MAT/02 or MAT/03▪ at least 30 CFU in MAT/05▪ at least 6 CFU in MAT/06▪ at least 6 CFU in MAT/07▪ at least 6 CFU in MAT/08you must undergo verification of the adequacy of your personal preparation as explained below. On pre-enrolment you must attach the list of examinations passed (or to be passed by the deadline for enrolment in the degree) in previous university studies, including the relevant number of credits;the teaching programmes;the indication of the curriculum you intend to follow.The examination covers the topics listed in the Syllabus and is based on your previous curriculum, the programmes of the examinations you have taken in the MAT/XX sectors and a possible interview, the dates of which will be communicated to you by the Master's Degree Admission Commission.For more information, go to the page Personal preparation test.
4. Confirm Enrolment Complete your enrolment by confirming it: click on the chosen degree programme and answer the simple questions. Then, click the “confirm” button.Pay the first instalment of tuition fees according to the procedures and deadlines indicated.
