Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness

What it is

The assessment of the adequacy of personal preparation is meant to ascertain the possession of the necessary basic specialist knowledge for admission to the course.

Who should carry out the verification

The test must be carried out by all those who wish to enter the Master's degree course.

How it works

To take the Verification of Adequacy of Graduate Personal Preparation you must do the pre-registration so as to be on the lists of students who must take the test.

Following this, if the test is successful, you must confirm your enrolment.

For pre-registration and the test you will not have to pay anything.

The registration fee and the regional fee are due upon confirmation of registration.

To prepare you

The test will be held in person, in a manner that will be communicated to you in detail on a dedicated page on Aulaweb, at least one week before the test.

The test is divided into two parts:

  • in the morning: test of comprehension of a written text in the language (duration 45 minutes) for each of the two chosen languages (as specified in the facsimiles).
  • in the late morning or afternoon (possibly, for languages for which there are many candidates, the following day): interview in the language on the written test given in the morning and on the reasons for the choice of course of study.

Bring with you to the test:

  • an identity document

  • a printout from your university career showing that you have graduated or at least that you have passed your language exams

     

  • Use of (paper) monolingual dictionary is allowed for tests in French, Swedish and German.
  • Use of dictionary is not allowed for tests in English, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. 

The assessment tests will take place on:

  • 22 September 2026
  • 24 November 2026 (for those who were unable to attend the September 2026 test)
