What is For admission to the graduate examination, you must have completed all the credits required by the educational regulations of your degree program. The dissertation examination consists of the public discussion of the thesis in front of a committee.The supervisor will agree with you on a topic that you must address with a commitment proportional to the 15 CFUs attributed to the thesis.The thesis can have as its subject matter topics related to all the disciplines of your course of study and must be consistent with the objectives of the course, but also with your interests and experiences gained (internship, Erasmus etc...).The thesis must be characterized by:the originality of the topic, method and/or results obtainedthe research methodthe completeness of the bibliographical referencesa thorough knowledge of the subject and for critical analysis skillsYou can write your thesis in English but you must acompany it with an abstract in Italian and in any case you must present it in Italian. Group thesis The supervisor may assign a research topic to a group of students, no more than three in number. single title and text of the thesis for all students, with indication in each copy of the thesis of each student's partsYou must all graduate at the same session and each will present and discuss his or her thesis individually to allow for separate evaluation. Thesis prepared during Erasmus mobility You will be able to prepare your thesis during your study abroad period and this can have credit recognition from 1 to 14.The information will be included in your Learning Agreement and then reviewed by the contact person for Erasmus+ procedures.

Evaluation The final grade is the result of the sum of:curricular average (expressed in one hundredths)evaluation of the final paper: the maximum total score attributable to the final paper is 8 points assigned as follows:from 0 to 6 points to the quality of the paperfrom 0 to 2 points to the ability to present and discuss the paper, or responding to questions formulated by the co-rapporteur and the committeeeventual period abroad: if you have earnedfrom 6 to 11 cfu you will have to add 0.5 pointsfrom 12 to 18 cfu you will have to add 1 pointbeyond 18 CFUs you will have to add 2 pointsthe grade 30 cum laude: translates to 31 whatever the number of CFUs of the teachingThe final grade will be rounded:by default, if the decimals are less than or equal to 5by excess, if the decimals are greater than 5. The final test is passed if you obtained a grade of not less than 66 points out of 110.
