• 7 and 8 December 2026 – Feast of the Immaculate Conception 
• from 23 December 2026 to 6 January 2027 inclusive – Christmas holidays
• from 25 to 30 March 2027 inclusive – Easter holidays
• 25 April 2027 – Liberation Day
• 1 May 2027 – Labour Day
• 2 June 2027 – Republic Day
• 24 June 2027 – Feast of St John, Patron Saint of Genoa

Academic Year 2026/2027

First and second years of SMID

• First semester: 21 September 2026 – 22 December 2026
• Second semester: 22 February 2027 – 28 May 2027   

Examination sessions may be scheduled during the following periods:

• Winter session: 7 January 2027 - 19 February 2027
• Summer session: 31 May 2027 - 17 September 2027

Third year of SMID

• First semester: 21 September 2026 – 11 December 2026
• Second semester: 22 February 2027 – 7 May 2027  

Exams may be scheduled during the following periods:

• Winter session: 14 December 2026 – 19 February 2027
• Summer session: 10 May 2027 – 17 September 2027

Closures: The Degree Programme adopts the University’s academic calendar with regard to public holidays.
