OVERVIEW

An analysis of the modern era, which is a period of complex artistic production rich with innovative solutions, is presented in the light of the current debate on visual culture: students can capture the extraordinary communicative models elaborated in those circumstances as a vital example of the relationship between commissioning clients, artists, the public and the role and use of images.
