AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

To provide the theoretical foundations regarding the use of computers in clinical practice. By the end of the course, students will have acquired basic knowledge of: information representation, the Internet and the World Wide Web, and ICT in the hospital setting.

TEACHING METHODS

The course is delivered primarily online asynchronously.

For this module of the integrated course, attendance is obtained by earning the course badge; this is issued after completing all online learning activities (video lectures and self-assessment quizzes) and successfully passing the final assessment tests.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Online quiz to be taken in the computer lab (alongside other modules of the integrated course). To be admitted to the exam, students must have achieved at least 70% attendance for the entire integrated course.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Knowledge assessment takes place via a quiz-style exam conducted in a computer lab.
