The course in brief Presentation The aim of the course is to lead students to develop theoretical, methodological and practical skills in cultural heritage management. Structured in three curricula - Archaeological Heritage, Archival and Book Heritage and Historical-Artistic Heritage - the course pertains to the humanities sphere, but is also open to aspects proper to the scientific and technological fields, in order to support students in building specific professional profiles. Learning by doing Traditional classroom lectures are coordinated with on-the-ground activities: experiences of excavation sites for the archaeology curriculum study and evaluation of cultural heritage at museums, archives and other institutions for the art historical and archival curricula The traineeships allow to get in touch with different realities and to take part in scientific outreach initiatives, for example related to the UNESCO site of the Palazzi dei Rolli. Professional outlets Employment in institutions (superintendencies, museums, libraries, archives) or companies working in the field of protection and enjoyment of cultural heritage entrepreneurial initiatives in the field professions inherent in the valorization of cultural heritage and scientific dissemination, with regard to public and private heritage.
