Study plan

What is the study plan

The study plan is the set of all the examinations you need to take in order to graduate.

The study plan is the set of all the examinations you need to take in order to graduate.

Your plan includes educational activities, including:

  • teaching
  • laboratories
  • other activities
  • curricular internships

The sum of mandatory and optional activities constitutes your study plan.

Consult the "Study Manifesto", which can be found on the course homepage in the Information box under Documents

and which you can find on the page Manifesti degli studi (by selecting your course).

Compile the curriculum

Access the online service

If you are duly enrolled and have paid the fees, you can submit the study plan.

Log in to the online service with your credentials and complete the plan.

Two types of curriculum

This is the plan that conforms to the Study Manifesto, i.e., adheres to what the course of study proposes for each year of enrollment. It does not have to be handed in/transmitted:after confirming it online, it will be automatically entered into your career in the days following the deadline for completion (early November).

You cannot fill it out if:

  • you wish to enroll part-time
  • .
  • you have received a CCS resolution for recognition of a previous career
  • you want to change your curriculum choice
  • you have already completed an individual plan in previous years
  • you wish to change one or more teachings entered in previous years
  • you wish to enter as a free-choice exam a teaching provided by a programmed access course

You do not need to send your individual study plan to the Student Desk. After validation, the plan will be forwarded ex officio to the relevant committee and entered into your career after approval by the Course of Study Council.

You must complete it if:

  • you wish to enroll part-time
  • .
  • you have received a CCS resolution for recognition of a previous career
  • you want to change your curriculum choice
  • you have already completed an individual plan in previous years
  • you wish to change one or more teachings entered in previous years
  • you wish to enter as a free-choice exam a teaching provided by a Programmed Access Course of Study. In this case, remember to ask the relevant Desk, also by e-mail, for the nullaosta that you will have to attach to the study plan. In fact, in the absence of the nullaosta, the study plan cannot be approved
  • .
  • You wish to submit a study plan that deviates from the requirements of the Manifesto. Remember to indicate in the notes, at the end of the compilation, the reasons behind your choice

N.B.Remember to include the compulsory and optional subjects stipulated in the system you have enrolled in. If at the time of submitting your degree application, all of the prescribed subjects are not included in your plan, you will not be able to proceed with the degree.

Support for the compilation of the curriculum

If you have any difficulties with the compilation of your study plan, you can rely on the support of the students tutors.

For assistance in drawing up your study plan, please contact the contact person for the Study Plan Commission.

Remember that:

  • the deadline must be strictly adhered to in order not to risk exclusion from the winter session
  • .
  • if you have already entered all the subjects in your career, you do not have to fill in the plan, unless you intend to make changes. In order to change your study plan, you will need to pay the fees for the new academic year
  • .
  • if you plan to graduate by the March session and therefore do not register for the new academic year, you cannot submit a new study plan
  • .

Exceptions to the 31 October deadline:

  • if you have applied for recognition of exams from a previous career and are awaiting the recognition resolution
  • .
  • if you enrol in a Master's degree after October: you have an extension to compile your study plan up to 15 days after the enrolment date. The extension is granted automatically for the compilation of a standard study plan, while you will be able to compile a individual study plan during the opening periods indicated: from 1 to 15 December 2024 and from 15 to 22 January 2025

Part-time curriculum

If you know you cannot devote full-time to your studies, you can choose to enroll part-time, with a decrease in the amount of tuition fees equal to the category of partiality you choose from:

1st category - up to 15 CFUs: pay a contribution equal to 25% of the amount due
2nd category - up to 30 CFUs: pay a contribution equal to 50% of the amount due

To compile a part-time study plan you must access the compilation of an individual plan (Campusone). Each year, with the completion of the study plan, you can change the category, or decide to go back to full-time.

Part-time enrollment is not allowed if:

  • you have obtained plan approval for all the proficiency examinations in your course of study and final examination
  • you submit a study plan by including only the final exam and/or additional extracurricular educational activities
  • you unconventionally spread the CFUs required for the degree over a number of years equal to the normal duration of the course

Study plan with recognition of previous career

You will not have to fill out a standard study plan, but an individual plan (CampusOne) in the case of enrollment with exam recognition resolution as a result of:

  • passage
  • option from old to new system
  • transfer from another university
  • second degree

You will be able to fill out the individual study plan only when the Student Registrar's Office sends you the recognition resolution. If you go beyond the deadline for completing the study plan, you will have to request an extension at the Student Desk

The validated teachings, as well as any exams included in the resolution as additional educational obligations (i.e., exams to be taken as a supplement to teachings that have been recognized), do not have to be included in the plan since the insertion will be done automatically by the Student Secretariat.

Out-of-course and old-order students

If you are enrolled out of course (with full 180/120 CFU plan) and wish to make changes to your study plan, you must:

  1. Fill out an individual plan (Campusone)
  2. .
  3. Select the exam(s) entered in previous years that you wish to remove
  4. Enter substitute ones in the current a.y.
  5. .
  6. Ignore the warning that the credits entered may be insufficient and confirm the plan.

If you are enrolled out of course in an old system DM509/99, you can continue your studies according to the former system or, if you wish, you can apply for a transfer to the new course of study (DM 270) by contacting the Student Practices Committee for advice (see Student Manifesto, Appendix, 6).

If you wish to make changes to your study plan while maintaining enrollment in the former system, you must:

  1. Fill out an individual plan (Campusone)
  2. .
  3. Select the exam(s) entered in previous years that you intend to remove
  4. Insert substitute ones
  5. Ignore thewarning that the credits entered may be insufficient and confirm the plan.

N.B.You cannot select part-time enrollment.

If you are enrolled in the old four-year system and would like to make changes to your study plan, you cannot fill out the plan online.
You have to use the study plan modification form and draw from the list of courses activated in the current academic year taking into account that

  • 6CFU=semester exam
  • 9/12CFU=annual exam

Remember to email it to the Student Desk by the deadline.

Change the curriculum

As a rule, it is possible to change the study plan within the deadlines indicated, at the same time as filling out the plan for the following year.

You will need to access the compilation of an individual plan, select the examinations entered in previous years that you wish to remove, then add the replacement ones along with all the others scheduled for the new academic year.

In well-founded cases, you may request a change of study plan by submitting the request form exclusively by e-mail by February

.

Fractionation change

Some teachings are divided into fractionations based on the initial of the students' last name (read the Study Manifesto of your course, Appendix 7).

You cannot move independently from one fractionation to another, and changing fractionations is allowed only in exceptional cases.

You will have to request permission from the teacher of the:

  • destination fractionation
  • origin fractionation

explain exactly what time overlap (or other serious reason) is forcing you to move. Remember to send via email the fractionation change application to the Student Desk.

Cases of blocking or suspending the curriculum

  • in case of failed initial verification there is a block on entering the first year study plan
  • in case of OFA (if you have not passed the initial verification) there is provision for blocking the entry of the study plan of the second year
  • in case of non-completion of the previous year's annual teaching evaluation questionnaire, which is mandatory for current enrolled students (Course of Study Questionnaire)
  • in case of failed or failed English B1 Test, there is a freeze on the entry of the study plan (if code 55870 ENGLISH LANGUAGE I was entered as the language of study or third language during compilation)
  • in the case of entering two years of the same language, in the absence of clearance from the teacher in charge of the most advanced level language teaching
  • in the absence of regular enrollment for the current academic year
