Spinola Clock Presentation: Wednesday 8 May, 4 p.m. (booking required)

Dear students,

You are invited to the presentation of the acquisition by the National Gallery of Liguria at Palazzo Spinola of an extraordinary masterpiece of Baroque sculpture, the so-called Spinola Clock. It is a rare example of a painted and gilded wooden piece of furniture made by an unknown carver from the workshop of Filippo and Domenico Parodi in the late 17th and early 18th centuries for the home of the Spinola family of the Lerma branch in Via degli Orefici.

The Spinola clock is a masterpiece of Baroque sculpture.

The presentation, which must be booked in advance at the following email address, will take place at Palazzo Spinola di Pellicceria (Piazza Pellicceria, 1) Wednesday 8 May at 4.00 p.m..
