The Lele Luzzati Foundation is organising the first edition of the Luzzati Giovani Award, to mark the twentieth anniversary of the death of Emanuele Luzzati.
The prize is open to artists of Italian nationality or resident in Italy, born on or after 15 January 1987, who work in animated film, including through experience in illustration, set design, graphic design, comics and the visual arts.
The selection process will assess the body of artistic work as a whole, with a focus on originality, expressive versatility and the dialogue between disciplines. Five finalists will attend the ceremony on 4 April 2027 at the Palazzo Ducale, Genoa, with travel and accommodation expenses covered by the Foundation.
Applications, complete with the required documentation, must be sent to premioluzzati@leleluzzatifoundation.it by 15 January 2027.
The call for applications, application form and further information can be found on the Casa Luzzati website.
