The scheduled holidays for the 2026/2027 academic year are:

• 1 November 2026 – All Saints’ Day
• 7 and 8 December 2026 – Feast of the Immaculate Conception 
• from 23 December 2026 to 6 January 2027 inclusive – Christmas holidays
• from 25 to 30 March 2027 inclusive – Easter holidays
• 25 April 2027 – Liberation Day
• 1 May 2027 – Labour Day
• 2 June 2027 – Republic Day
• 24 June 2027 – Feast of St John, Patron Saint of Genoa

First semester

• Lectures: from Tuesday 15/09/2026 to Friday 11 December 2026
• Winter examination session:
  • from Monday 14 December 2026 to Tuesday 22 December 2026 (1 sitting)
  • from Thursday 7 January 2027 to Friday 12 February 2027 (2 exam sessions)

Second semester

• Lectures: from Monday 15 February 2027 to Friday 21 May 2027
• Summer session examinations:
  • from Monday 24 May 2027 to Friday 23 July 2027 (3 exam sessions)
  • from Monday 30 August 2027 to Friday 10 September 2027 (1 examination session)

Extraordinary examination sessions

1. Extraordinary examination session for final-year students in the summer session, preferably during the week of 19–30 April (to allow for the submission of the documentation required to take part in the June graduation session)
2. Pre-examination session for the summer term (optional, subject to any provisions laid down by individual degree programmes) from Monday 10 May 2027 to Friday 21 May 2027
