The Integrated Course of Physics, Informatics, Radioprotection and Medical Statistics includes the basic disciplines in order to prepare the student to other disciplines strictly related to the Degree Course.
Gain basic knowledge on physics with the aim of to collect and judge health information. Gain basic knowledge for using the mainly used software and the related applications. Knowledge of laws, norms and procedures aimed to the protection against any harmful effects on the workers, on the patients, on the general population and on the environment. Gain basic knowledge of statistics and statistical methodology useful for identifying, understanding and judging the biomedical phenomena and the statistical analysis of the data.

PHYSICS, COMPUTER, RADIATION PROTECTION AND STATISTICS
This course consists of different modules, depending on the “Corso di Laurea” where it is included. Please refer to the page of each module.
In case of certification of specific learning disability (SLD), disability or other special educational needs, the University legislation and regulations on disability and SLD are applied. Students with SLD or other certified special educational needs shall contact the lecturer/examiner (Prof Costagli) and the Department contact person (Prof Girtler) at least 10 days before the exam, to request for additional time to take the test, and use support notes, which must fit a single A4 sheet.
The assessment will evaluate the student’s understanding of the topics covered in class and their ability to correctly approach proposed problems using the knowledge and skills acquired.A solid grasp of the basic concepts of the subject is required for the exam to be considered passed.
