This is an integrated course that includes the following disciplinary modules:
• Splanchnologic Anatomy
• Osteoartromyology
• Neuroanatomy
• Histology
• Histology Laboratory
• Specialized Histology
The course aims to provide knowledge of the essential morphological characteristics of different systems, apparatuses, and organs. Special attention will be devoted to the functional anatomy of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Students will also acquire basic concepts of cytology, tissue organization, and general embryology.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
