The course is divided into 4 didactic modules: Human Physiology (2 CFU), Biochemical Propaedeutics (1 CFU), Biochemistry (1 CFU) and Neurophysiology (2CFU).All lectures are taught in presence at the various University of Genoa teaching hubs in the Liguria region.
Gain knowledge on the basic cell physiology, on the functions of various organs and apparatus of the human body (cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, nervous, endocrine, locomotors, genital and gastrointestinal system). A great deal of attention has to be paid to the physiology of nutrition. Gain knowledge on the chemical of living processes, including the full comprehension of cellular and molecular biology and the understanding of principal metabolisms.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
